These general terms and conditions apply to all orders through www.swarovskioptik.com ("the Website"). Please read these General Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering products from this Website. By ordering our products, you indicate that you consent to the conditions below and state that your are competent to enter into legally-binding contracts and are at least 18 years old. We recognize rules that differ from these General Terms and Conditions only if they are confirmed by us in writing. That also applies to a deviation from this clause requiring written documents.


This Website, for the sale of goods via the Internet, is operated by SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH (Daniel Swarovski-Straße 70, 6067 Absam, Austria). This is where you can place complaints or assert warranty claims.

Your orders on the Website are binding offers for entering into the associated contracts to purchase with SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH. We are free to either accept these offers within 14 days of receipt or to reject them by sending you a statement to that effect. There is no binding contract to purchase formed until we have accepted your order. This acceptance is indicated by the shipment of the goods ordered.

You indicate that you expressly agree to have your credit rating checked by inquiries to the officially-authorized credit protection associations, credit institutions and credit inquiry agencies. We reserve the right to refuse to accept the order if we receive a negative credit report. In addition, we reserve the right to reject orders from customers if there is reason to believe that the customer is acting in contravention of the General Terms and Conditions, is involved in fraudulent activities or other activities of importance from a criminal law standpoint or any other material reason exists. When processing electronic payments, in order to provide an extra level of security to our customers, it can be that Swarovski Optik may contact you to verify certain aspects of your order before shipment.

The Swarovski Optik products are for civil use only. Swarovski Optik may reject or cancel any order (without any compensation) if Swarovski Optik suspects that the product will not be used for civil purposes or if any export restrictions apply.


Products and prices are as shown on the Website; products are available as long as they are in stock. We reserve the right to change the products offered on the Website at any time without notice and to limit the number of items that may be purchased by a visitor.

There is no liability for lack of items in stock or for products not being available.

Any commercial resale or distribution of Swarovski Optik products sold on the Website is strictly prohibited.

Please note that after your order is confirmed, no requests to change or cancel it can be considered.


If the goods ordered cannot be delivered within 14 days following the day after your order, we may withdraw from the contract, even if we previously confirmed that we were entering into it. If we withdraw, you will be informed that the goods are not available and you will be reimbursed immediately for the consideration you have already provided.


The total price of your order, including all ancillary and shipping costs, was indicated on the previous page or will be shown at the end of the checkout process. By confirming the order, you state that you agree to the price for the goods. The price cannot be adjusted after the completion of the check-out process.

Swarovski Optik products are sold by SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH, which has its headquarters in Austria. We would like to point out that for foreign payments using credit cards, a foreign transaction fee (about 1-2%) may be charged by the institution that issued your credit card.


7.1. Total price

The total price of your order is the purchase price of your chosen product(s) including VAT and all additional costs (e.g. shipping costs, etc.).

The total price for ordered products is payable when you place your order on the SWAROVSKIOPTIK.COM website.

7.2. Payment methods

In general, we offer the following payment methods:

Visa, Mastercard and American Express

If you are paying by credit card, we reserve the right to check the validity of the card and verify the availability parameters for the credit collection and address details. If the card-issuing institute refuses the payment to us, we shall not be liable for any delays in delivery or non-deliveries.

Depending on the country, our customers can also choose from the following payment methods:

Bancontact – available in BE
Sofort – available in AT, DE, BE, CH, IT, ES, GB, NL
EPS – available in AT

The different payment methods we offer are listed on the checkout page and you can select one of the available payment methods for your country. We reserve the right, at our own discretion, to add or remove payment methods from time to time.


8.1 Promotional vouchers are vouchers that cannot be purchased, but are given out during advertising campaigns and are valid for a certain period of time.

8.2 Promotional vouchers can be redeemed once only in connection with an order, and only within the specified period.  Individual products may be excluded from the promotion.  Promotional vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers. Please note that a minimum order value may apply to the use of promotional vouchers.

8.3 The value of the merchandise must equal or exceed the value of the promotional voucher. If the voucher does not cover the value of the merchandise, the difference can be paid using any of the accepted payment methods.  The value of promotional vouchers will not be paid out in cash, nor will it accrue interest.  Promotional vouchers will not be refunded if all or some of the merchandise is returned.

8.4 Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed before the ordering process is complete. Subsequent deduction is not possible. Promotional vouchers may not be transferred to third parties. It is not possible to combine several promotional vouchers unless we have agreed otherwise.

8.5 If you used a promotional voucher when making your purchase and, as a result of revocation by you, the total value of your order is less than the value of the promotional voucher, we reserve the right to charge you the original price for the merchandise you retain.


The goods ordered are normally delivered to the delivery address you provide by our contracted delivery service within 3-7 working days after the working day following your order.

Deliveries may, however, be delayed through force majeure, inherent system faults/failures or unforeseen irregularities on the part of our delivery partners.SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH can assume no liability in such cases. As a precaution, SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH therefore recommends that you place orders to be delivered to remote locations as early as possible.

Upon receipt the shipment must be checked for accuracy and completeness.


As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract without stating reasons within a period of fourteen days.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party you have specified, who is not the transporter, have/has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH, Daniel Swarovski-Strasse 70, 6067 Absam, email: customerservice@swarovskioptik.com) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the template withdrawal form, but this is not a requirement.

To comply with the withdrawal period, you must send notification of your wish to exercise your withdrawal right before the end of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising if you have chosen a different type of delivery other than our standard economical delivery), promptly, and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. To make this repayment, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise with you; in no circumstances will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment.

We can refuse to make this repayment until the goods are back in our possession or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, depending on which is the earlier date.

You must send back or hand over the goods promptly, and in all cases within fourteen days from the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal from this contract, to the address shown on our website under “Customer Service – Returns”. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the end of the fourteen-day period. Additional information and help with returns of ordered goods and the specific return address for your country can be found on our website under the menu item “Customer Service – Returns”.

You will only be required to compensate for any loss in the value of the goods if this loss in value can be traced back to unnecessary handling on your part to check the composition, features, and functionality of the goods.

You must endeavor to send the products back in their original condition, in original packaging, and the returns note must be enclosed with the products.

It is not currently possible to use the website to return products purchased from SWAROVSKI OPTIK specialist retailers.

The right of withdrawal does not apply for products manufactured or customized according to your specifications. These products cannot be sent back or exchanged.

The statutory warranty period for defects in materials or workmanship is two years from the time the goods are received. If there is such a defect in the goods delivered, you may demand the repair of the product. If the repair of the product is not possible you may at your opinion demand that the contract be revoked or - if the goods are still deliverable - that they be replaced with the same type of good without any defects.


SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH is only liable to you for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

This limitation of liability applies to all claims for damages, regardless of the legal basis, including but not limited to unauthorized actions; they do not apply to any liability that may apply under the Product Liability Act, some other warranted characteristic or injury to life or limb.

Exemption from or limitation of liability for damages under the previous paragraphs also applies to any claims that may exist against employees or agents of SWAROVSKI OPTIK Vertriebs GmbH.


Registration of your personal details with SWAROVSKI OPTIK or conclusion of a purchase contract with SWAROVSKI OPTIK or contact in any other electronic form with SWAROVSKI OPTIK means that you agree that SWAROVSKI OPTIK may, according to the current data protection declaration, save and store your personal details without your prior written consent. SWAROVSKI OPTIK may record, process, save, store, forward, and use your personal details.

You can obtain information about your personal details at any time and withdraw your consent to saving, storage, and use of your personal details for the future.
