Video stabilization
With this update, we are introducing video stabilization for video recordings on the AXVisio and for the Live View in the SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor app. This new feature ensures even clearer and more stable videos by reducing unwantedmovements and vibrations.

Bird Identification over longer distance
Improvements in image processing now provide you with the significant advantage of more reliable bird identification from longer distances.

Notifications in the event of a failed bird identification
When bird identification fails, the device now provides detailed notifications explaining the cause. Examples include: Bird not recognized, Bird too small, Camera shaking, Bird not identifiable, Autofocus not finished, No bird found, or Location missing. This real-time feedback allows you to adjust your approach on the spot, increasing the likelihood of a successful identification. Additionally, these notifications can now be displayed in one of four languages: German, English, French, or Spanish. The preferred language can be selected in the Bird ID app settings.

With an update of the SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor App you will experience a significantly transformed look and feel of the home screen offering a refreshed, user-friendly design.

Additionally, the language selection options to display bird names have been expanded, enhancing usibility and convenience for a global audience.

How to change the language setting for bird names:
If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled on your smartphone, please update the Outdoor App in your App Store. Open the Outdoor App and connect your AX Visio. Navigate to the menu icon "Apps", select the Bird ID app and choose your preferred display language from the list.
