Part already known as also in use on an EL Range 8x42. Very satisfied!

Although I had asked about the compatibility in use with the forehead support and this was answered with "fits", I had to realize after delivery (and payment) that this is unfortunately not the case. You can use the cover but it is a poor and unsightly "solution".

Thank you for your feedback! In principle, the BGP fits the NL PURE models; when used together with the FRP front support, the lenses are covered by the BGP, but it does not lie completely against the housing. Your feedback will be forwarded internally accordingly. If you need information about the return, please contact our Customer Service Team: customerservice@swarovskioptik.com

I purchased the BGP Bino Guard because the supplied (with the NL Pure range) rubber rainguard remains quite "sticky" after prolonged use, is occasionally awkward to remove and sometimes lifts the twist-up eyepieces from the locked down position - all valuable time if you're trying to identify a bird! I had hoped that the Bino guard might provide an easier solution. Unfortunately I don't think it is sufficiently large or "heavy duty" enough to do the job. So for the moment, I will stick with the rubber rainguard as I think it provides better protection overall. I will also risk not identifying a percentage of the birds I find.

These are the best optics out there I own two different pair so my grandson and I can go scouting together, 12-50 absolutely an incredible experience.
