Carina Schiestl-Swarovski, born 1968 in Innsbruck/Tyrol, is a fifth generation member of the owning family of the Swarovski Group and great-granddaughter of the Swarovski Optik company’s founder. Following the completion of her studies in social and business sciences, she gained in-depth professional experience in the fields of marketing, human resources and management in addition to as an executive director of the Tyrolit Schleifmittelwerke. Carina Schiestl-Swarovski assumed the office of chairman of the executive board of Swarovski Optik in October 2006.
