With our support we were able to ensure the future of the WWF station for birds of prey at Haringsee, the only such institution in Austria. One of the focal points of this facility was the breeding of the bearded vulture, a species which came close to extinction during the last century. Until now, the resettlement of over 30 animals in the Alps has been successful – a result that is exemplary in all of Europe.
